Job Overview:

As a Motion Graphics Designer & Video Editor at Glidix Productions, you will play a key role in visual storytelling by creating captivating motion graphics, animations, and video edits. You’ll work with a team of creative minds to produce high-quality content that resonates with audiences across various platforms. Expertise in Blender software is essential, as we aim to elevate our 3D and motion design projects.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Motion Graphics & Animation:

• Design and create stunning motion graphics and animations for videos, including 2D/3D elements, title sequences, transitions, and visual effects.

• Leverage Blender to develop high-quality 3D animations and visual effects.

• Collaborate on storyboards and animatics to plan and execute creative concepts.

2. Video Editing:

• Edit raw video footage into cohesive, engaging narratives by adding music, graphics, transitions, and sound effects.

• Perform color correction, grading, and sound design to enhance video quality.

• Maintain video quality across multiple platforms and formats.

3. Storytelling:

• Translate complex ideas into clear, visually compelling stories that align with Glidix Productions’ vision and values.

• Collaborate with the creative team to brainstorm innovative ways to convey stories through motion and video.

4. Technical Proficiency:

• Utilize industry-standard tools such as Adobe After Effects, Premiere Pro, Photoshop, Illustrator, and Blender to execute projects.

• Stay updated on the latest trends in motion graphics, video editing, and 3D animation.

5. Collaboration & Feedback:

• Work closely with the creative team to develop and refine concepts.

• Incorporate feedback efficiently to deliver polished, high-quality content on time.

6. Brand Consistency:

• Ensure all visual content adheres to Glidix Productions’ brand guidelines and storytelling ethos.

• Continuously innovate to keep our content fresh and engaging.

Qualifications:

• Experience:

• 2+ years of experience in motion graphics design and video editing.

• Proven expertise in using Blender for 3D animation and design.

• Skills:

• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (After Effects, Premiere Pro, Photoshop, Illustrator).

• Advanced knowledge of Blender for 3D modeling, animation, and rendering.

• Strong understanding of storytelling principles, design aesthetics, and typography.

• Creative Aptitude:

• Exceptional storytelling skills with an eye for detail and a passion for visual communication.

• Ability to transform concepts into visually compelling narratives.

• Team Player:

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to work effectively in a collaborative environment.

• Excellent time management, multitasking, and problem-solving abilities.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with sound design and audio editing.

• Familiarity with Cinema 4D or other 3D software is a plus.

• A strong portfolio showcasing storytelling through motion graphics and video editing.
