Job Description:

Lakhotia College of Design is seeking a dynamic and experienced Interior Design Faculty to join our esteemed institution. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in interior design education and industry experience, with expertise in various aspects of interior design, including space planning, furniture design, materials and finishes, lighting design, sustainable design, and advanced 2D & 3D software applications.

Key Responsibilities:

Teach and mentor students in interior design, covering subjects like technical drawing, digital drafting, 3D visualization, furniture design, building services, sustainable design, and design thinking.
Develop and update curriculum as per industry standards and emerging interior design trends.
Conduct hands-on practical sessions, workshops, and live projects.
Guide students in portfolio development and assist with industry internships.
Stay updated with current design trends, materials, and technological advancements.
Collaborate with industry professionals to bring real-world exposure to students.
Organize and oversee exhibitions, design competitions, and academic projects.
Assess student performance through projects, assignments, and evaluations.
Qualifications & Skills:

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Interior Design or a related field.
Minimum 3-5 years of teaching experience in a reputed design institute or significant industry experience.
Strong technical skills in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, 3ds Max, V-Ray, Lumion, Rhino, and Adobe Creative Suite.
Excellent communication, leadership, and mentorship abilities.
Ability to inspire and engage students through innovative teaching methodologies.
Passion for interior design education and commitment to student success.
Preferred Qualifications:

Industry exposure in interior design, architectural visualization, or furniture design.
Experience with AI in design, parametric design, and sustainable interiors.
Published work, participation in design events, or awards in the field.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹30,000.00 – ₹50,000.00 per month
